Big Brothers Big Sisters 15th Annual Daffodil Run in Amherst April 27th!

Five College Realtors: Daffodil

Five College Realtors is excited to again be sponsoring the Big Brothers Big Sisters Daffodil Run, taking place in Amherst Town Common on Sunday, April 27th, and starting at 10:00am!

CHD's (The Center for Human Development)’s Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Hampshire County is a non-profit organization with the mission to “create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth” (chd.org).

BBBS does this by connecting adult mentors (Bigs) with young people (Littles) in our community who could benefit from their support. Through participating in different activities with each other 2-4 times a month, Bigs and Littles build a stable mentoring relationship and the invaluable gift of friendship. And since COVID, the children within the program have an even higher need for such connection.

The Daffodil Run is the BBBS’s biggest fundraiser of the year, with all its revenue going toward meeting their goal and to provide service to their kids, families, and their mentors.

Even more, this event is a beloved annual Amherst tradition that brings the entire community together to celebrate and enjoy festivities for a good cause! You can look forward to a 5k Run/Walk, a 10K Run, and a post-race celebration with delicious food and family-friendly activities.
