Safe Passage's 22nd Annual Hot Chocolate Run

On Sunday, December 7th in Downtown Northampton, Safe Passage will be hosting their 22nd annual Hot Chocolate Run. Not only does this beloved event foster a sense of community during the cold season, but it raises money for vital services such as counseling and legal advocacy for survivors of domestic abuse. Five College Realtors is proud to be a Yellow Ribbon Sponsor for the event once again!

Five College Realtors: 22nd Annual Hot Chocolate Run

Safe Passage has been addressing domestic violence since 1977 and has helped thousands of suffering families achieve safety and justice in Hampshire County. The Hot Chocolate Run fundraiser is hosted annually to support victims of domestic abuse and push for systematic change.  Through a season-long series of activities made available to the community. You can participate by volunteering, walking or running in the 3K and 5K events, or by simply making a donation.

Every donation counts toward supporting survivors and their families - also just spreading the word can be a big help! Last year, the event surpassed its usual fundraising goal of $800,000, wrapping up with total earnings of $838,474 from over 5,000 participants. So far this year they’ve earned over 60% of their goal. By November 10th of this year, they had raised $47,000 more than the same time last year.

Registration ends December 5th – don’t miss your chance to register and we will see you there!
