What is your motto? If it challenges you, it changes you.
What are you currently reading? I’m currently reading the Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. I also love reading Frieda McFadden and Steven King.
Which living person do you most admire? The person I admire most is my maternal grandmother. She is incredibly hardworking, giving every part of herself to her family with a love that never seems to run out. She moves through life and all the seasons that brings with such grace and is the kind of woman whose strength feels gentle but unshakable.
How do you measure success? To me, success means loving who I am, what I do, and being proud of how I do it.
What do you do to relax? To relax, I really lean into two things: working out and cooking. I love a good workout to release stress, and being in the kitchen is where I feel calm and creative. Making sourdough bread with Frank Sinatra in the background is one of my favorite ways to unwind.
What do you consider your greatest achievement? My greatest achievements have been my two young children and raising them to be kind and fostering their curiosity.
If someone asked you for advice on getting into business, what advice would you tell them? Embrace hard work and resilience. There will be setbacks and tough days, but success comes from facing challenges, learning from them, and continuing to move forward. Stay committed, work consistently, and keep your vision in sight.
What are your favorite parts of living in the Five College Area? My favorite part of living in the Five College area is the strong sense of community and pride. Growing up on a farm, I loved watching how farmers would come together; whether it was sharing tools, swapping advice, or lending a hand to one another. It really showed me the power of collaboration. And, not to be overlooked, the area has some incredible restaurants—proving you can have small-town charm and amazing food at the same time!
Did you have a turning point in your life or career? A turning point in my career came when I transitioned from teaching Early Education, a field where I felt secure and comfortable, to diving headfirst into real estate. It was a leap into the unknown, filled with uncertainty, but fueled by deep passion. It taught me the value of taking risks and to follow what truly excites and challenges me.
What do you like best about being in real estate? I love real estate because it allows me to connect with so many different people and hear their unique stories. What makes it truly special for me is being able to guide them through such an important milestone in their lives and help make the experience as smooth, enjoyable, and meaningful as possible. Being part of that journey and knowing I’ve made it easier for them is incredibly rewarding.
What is your favorite musician / band? I love all types of music but I’d say my favorite is classic rock. (My daughter’s name is Stevie and my son’s name is Jagger)
